American Shot Dead in Saudi Arabia

Another wounded by the gunman.

One American was shot dead and another wounded Tuesday in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia’s capital. A gunman fired on their vehicle, according to police. The assailant was later arrested at a gas station later, but it’s not known who the suspect is or what his motive was. A U.S. official said the Americans are employees of Vinnell Arabia, a defense contractor that supports the Saudi National Guard.
