An Oregon woman who claims she was arrested in East Timor because she unknowingly shared a taxi with a person carrying methamphetamine has been released. She had been detained for nearly four months in the tiny Southeast Asian nation. The woman, Stacey Addison, will stay at the home of former East Timorese President and Nobel Peace Prize laureate Jose Ramos-Horta as her passport has not been returned. The reasons for her release, as well its conditions, were not announced.
