Holiday decorations are coming out, and so are the specters of the “War on Christmas.” In The New York Times, Eric Weiner speaks up for the majority of Americans caught between the True Believers and the Angry Atheists. “We are the Nones, the roughly 12 percent of people who say they have no religious affiliation at all. The percentage is even higher among young people; at least a quarter are Nones.” Weiner says he found himself believing in God, but had no place in any kind of religion. Why not turn to America’s entrepreneurial spirit to invent a new religious space? “Like Steve Jobs’s creations, this new way would be straightforward and unencumbered and absolutely intuitive.”
