Water Ride

Amphicar Floats Along Venice Canal

Nothing beats first class? Think again. Bernd Weise has been driving his amphicar—one that can travel on roads and water—up and down the Venice Canal. His 1961 ride powered by a Triumph Herald engine gears up to 70 miles per hour on land and a whopping eight knots on water. Ambitious and amphibious car enthusiasts may have to ride shotgun—driving and boating licenses are necessary to operate the vehicle.
