Amtrak Train Jumps Tracks

Most of a nine-car Amtrak train jumped the tracks in South Carolina's Spartanburg County early Monday, causing two people to be hospitalized but no serious injuries reported. There were 207 passengers and 11 crew members on board. En route from New Orleans to New York, seven of the Amtrak Crescent train’s nine cars left the tracks. All the cars remained upright, and heat and light were reportedly restored quickly. Passenger Jessica Smith told CBS News the incident was “traumatizing.”
