Anaheim Police Clash With Crowd

A crowd threw bottles and other objects at police officers in Anaheim, Calif., after police were involved in a shooting Saturday. Local media reported that officers were involved in a shooting around 4 p.m. A witness said police shot a man in the courtyard of an apartment complex after the man ran with two others. The crowd gathered after police came to investigate the shooting scene and stayed for five hours, at one point lighting a trash can on fire, according to witnesses. According to The Associated Press, police fired beanbag rounds to control the crowd.
