Ancient American Pyramid Discovered

Mexican find may be the oldest of its kind.

Egypt what? Archaeologists have discovered in Mexico what they believe may be the oldest pyramid in the Americas—a small stone-and-wood burial tomb containing a man who was 50 when he died and several artifacts, including jade collars and ceramic vessels. Researchers say they think the tomb is 2,700 years old, with the burial having taken place sometime between 700 and 500 B.C. The tomb and a similar one nearby were discovered at Chiapa de Corzo and are believed to have been built by the Olmec people.
