Andrew Cuomo Sues Steve Rattner Related to NY State Pension Fund
For kickbacks from New York State pension fund.
Steve Rattner settled for $6.2 million with the SEC on Thursday but it looks like his troubles aren’t over: New York State Attorney General Andrew Cuomo sued Rattner for his role in a kickback scheme related to the New York State pension fund on Thursday. Cuomo, the next governor of New York, wants $26 million from Rattner and a lifetime ban from the securities industry in New York; Rattner allegedly used kickbacks to secure investments.
