Singer Andy Williams announced that he has bladder cancer. In a statement, the 83-year-old singer said he is currently in treatment. At a concert in Missouri on Saturday, Williams revealed his diagnosis, but also said that cancer is “no longer a death sentence.” Williams is known for launching his career in a quartet with his three older brothers and for hosting a variety show in the ‘60s. He is set to return to the stage in 2012.
