Angelina Jolie to Attend Comic-Con

Comic books are not just for nerds—the Hollywood Reporter says Angelina Jolie will be heading to Comic-Con this year. After speculation, the insider site reveals Jolie will be in attendance to promote her film Salt, which opens Friday during the annual San Diego-based convention, which runs from Wednesday to Sunday. Columbia Pictures, which is releasing the film, will be showing off its latest projects on Thursday and Friday and Jolie is expected to take the stage on behalf of Salt on Thursday. “There’s no reason why she shouldn’t show up there to make one powerful impression on the people who eat action movies up,” HR said. Columbia did not comment on the report.
