Ann Romney is super-popular these days—almost as popular as Michelle Obama. The wannabe first lady has seen a 12-percentage-point surge in favorability since April, stemming from her much-heralded RNC speech and other major appearances on behalf of her husband, the Republican presidential nominee. Despite having been on the campaign trail with Mitt in 2008, by April of this year 30 percent of polled voters said they still weren't sure about her—the population who feels that way has now been cut in half. Still, with a stable favorability rating of 69 percent, more people prefer Michelle, who’s become somewhat of a daytime TV personality, pushing her childhood obesity and military family initiatives on shows like The View and The Ellen DeGeneres Show.
