Ann Romney’s Plane Makes Emergency Landing

Ann Romney is safe after a private plane carrying her from California to Nebraska was forced to make an emergency landing in Colorado. The Romney campaign is reporting that the plane was forced to make an unexpected landing after smoke—allegedly the result of an electrical fire—began filling the cabin. All 10 people on board, including four staff members and two members of the Secret Service, left the incident unharmed. The Republican presidential nominee’s wife made headlines this week when she fired back at critics of her husband's campaign on a radio interview in Iowa, "You want to try it? Get in the ring."
