Anne Hathaway Confirms Plans for ‘Princess Diaries 3’

The third foot-popping installment already has a script, she said.

Anne Hathaway confirmed that there will be a third installment in Disney's popular Princess Diaries series. It’s been 15 years since the last Diaries film hit theaters. Hathaway confirmed that there is a finished script, and that Julie Andrews, who portrayed the Queen of Genovia, is on board to star again in the film. “I want to do it. Julie [Andrews] wants to do it. Debra Martin Chase, our producer, wants to do it. We all really want it to happen,” Hathaway told Watch What Happens Live host Andy Cohen on Thursday evening. “It’s just [that] we don’t want to unless it’s perfect because we love it just as much as you guys love it... It’s as important to us as it is to you, and we don’t want to deliver anything until it's ready, but we’re working on it.”
