This year, Anne Hathaway has been practically everywhere: in a Spandex one-piece in The Dark Knight Rises, making waves for her dramatic diet in Les Misérables, stunning in a ball of pink tulle (with a toilet-paper-like head wrap) on her wedding day. She’s graced the cover of Vogue and hosted SNL. For more than a decade, Hathaway has distinguished herself as a fashion plate, showing up on the red carpet in a series of dramatic and pitch-perfect dresses. Over the years, she’s become close friends with designer Valentino Garavani and has repeatedly worn his designs, including a few of his vintage pieces, to award shows. Indeed, Hathaway has emerged as someone confident in the fashion world—and capable of looking just as good in jeans as she does in Givenchy Haute Couture. In honor of her recent red-carpet run for Les Miz, we bring you highlights of Hathaway’s 11-year style evolution.
