Dow off over 200 points.

Stock markets in New York continued an international decline today, with the Dow down more than 200 points in the late afternoon, hitting a low not seen since November. The S&P also slipped over 2 percent on news that joblessness is at a record and hesitation over the federal stimulus plan, coming to a vote tomorrow. "The market is deeply cynical of what's going on and no one in Washington has any more idea than a goat what they're doing," complained one trader.
