Another Microsoft AI Bot Under Fire

Shortly after Microsoft shut down Tay, its AI bot that turned into a white supremacist and Holocaust-denier based on users’ input, the company has another artificial intelligence robot grabbing negative attention. Microsoft’s Captionbot was meant to automatically generate text captions for photos, but among its many bizarre captions, it has mistaken Michelle Obama for a cellphone and confused the infamous “blue-and-black” dress with cats wearing ties.
