Ottavia Busia-Bourdain on Monday posted her first public comment following the death of her estranged husband Anthony Bourdain. “Our little girl had her concert today. She was amazing. So strong and brave. She wore the boots you bought her,” Busia-Bourdain wrote on Instagram, accompanied by a photograph of their daughter performing on-stage. “I hope you are having a good trip, wherever you are.” The author, chef, and television star was found dead in a French hotel room on Friday. The pair amicably split in 2016 but never officially divorced. They continued to co-parent 11-year-old Ariane right up until Anthony’s death.
