Actor Rudy Youngblood, best known for his role in Mel Gibson’s Oscar-nominated film Apocalypto, was arrested Thursday in Texas on a substance charge, according to TMZ. Authorities arrested the 43-year-old on a warrant issued on Wednesday in Bell County. Officials booked him into the Henderson County jail on a charge of possession of a controlled substance between one and four grams, a felony offense. The charge carries a potential penalty of up to two years in prison and a fine of up to $10,000. He remained in custody as of Friday morning. Youngblood has had previous encounters with law enforcement. In October 2025, he was arrested on an assault charge involving an alleged attack on a family or household member, according to TMZ.
