T-Mobile customers will be able to use iPhones, as Apple began selling unlocked models of the popular smartphone online Tuesday. The phones, which require micro-SIM cards, are compatible with both AT&T and T-Mobile networks. Before T-Mobile users run to the stores, however, they should be aware that the iPhone is incompatible with T-Mobile’s 3G and will run over the carrier’s slower, EDGE Protocol wireless. The unlocked iPhone, available in both black and white, sells for $649 for a 16GB model and $749 for a 32GB model.
