Apple Eyeing Live TV

iStream? The ever-ambitious Apple appears to be looking to corner the market on live television. The company has reportedly been holding talks with American cable operators about allowing Apple set-top boxes—similar to the brand’s current TV box which allows internet video streaming— to be used in order to access live TV and other programs. No deals have been made yet, but Apple Chief Executive Tim Cook met with his counterpart at Time Warner Cable last month and is rumored to be in talks with other companies.
