The Apple iPad will now be sold in Israel after the country lifted restrictions over concerns that the gadget’s signal could disrupt other devices in the area. After “intensive technical scrutiny in a controlled laboratory” conducted by the Communications Ministry, the product was deemed safe. Israel is the only country to have banned iPad imports, but the device is expected to hit the shelves there in late May.
