Apple chief Steve Jobs revealed plans to build a new headquarters for the company that appears “a little like a spaceship landed,” as he described it to the Cupertino city council on Tuesday. The circular building would house 12,000 employees and be built so “there is not a straight piece of glass in the building,” Jobs said, adding “We've seen these office parks with lots of buildings, and they get pretty boring pretty fast, so we'd like to do something better than that.” The new building would be in addition to the company’s main campus at 1 Infinity Loop.
