Verizon customers’ prayers are answered: The Wall Street Journal says that Apple will begin producing a new iPhone by the end of 2010 that will go for sale on Verizon Wireless early next year. It will be similar in design to the iPhone 4, though will be compatible with Verizon technology. Apple is also already at work on a new fifth-generation iPhone model, the Journal says.
