The blog Gizmodo should thank its lucky stars: The tech blog found a next-generation iPhone that was left at a bar in Redwood City, disguised to look like a current-generation iPhone 3GS. What’s new about it? Unfortunately, Gizmodo was unable to get past the “Connect to iTunes” screen when booting up the phone, but several new features are observable: there’s a front-facing camera; there’s a slightly smaller screen, but with apparently improved resolution; the back is flat instead of rounded; there’s a larger camera lens with a flash on the back; among a few other changes. “The rest is pretty much just an iPhone,” says blogger Jason Chen.
