Mary Poppins, meanwhile, earned $28 million, putting its box-office total close to $100 million. Those two were followed by Bumblebee, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse, and The Mule. Making an impressive showing in a limited opening was On the Basis of Sex, about Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg, which took in $1.5 million.
