The Arkansas State University in Jonesboro is on lockdown Thursday after an armed man allegedly drove onto campus. Police surrounded the man in his truck on the lawn near a student union building. According to officials, the unidentified man was armed with a shotgun and two propane tanks in the back of his vehicle. He was apprehended by authorities without any shots fired.
