The Centre of Attention, a Anglo-French art collective, is planning a shot-for-shot remake of John Schlesinger’s classic film Darling, which starred Julie Christie. This time around, the art group will cast members of the public to star in the film about a model seeking success in London during the swinging ‘60s. The new film, which will be titled Action Drama, starts shooting this summer and will premiere at a festival of new cinema in Liverpool in September.
