The sinking of a British Columbian whale-watching boat has left at least four people dead, Canadian officials said Sunday evening. The MV Leviathan II was reportedly carrying 27 passengers when it made a mayday call shortly before 4 p.m. local time and then sank off the coast of Tofino, near Vancouver Island. The death toll is expected to rise, the CBC reports, because not all the passengers have been accounted for.
