Prosecutors said Thursday that an Australian teen allegedly discussed equipping a kangaroo with explosives and painting an ISIS symbol on it before setting it loose on Australian police officers. Sevdet Ramadan Besim, 19, appeared in a Melbourne court on charges that he planned an ISIS-inspired terrorist attack at a Veterans Day ceremony, which included targeting police officers in April last year. Besim, who was one of five teens arrested in police raids last year, pleaded not guilty to four terror charges. Prosecutors alleged that Besim was communicating with a British teen overseas about a planned attack. He faces charges in connection to conducting Internet searches, engaging in communications and writing a memo with the intention of planning a terrorist attack.
