Australia announced Tuesday that it is increasing its commitment to the fight against ISIS, and sending 300 additional soldiers to a base near Baghdad, where they will work with New Zealanders to train Iraqi forces. While Australian troops are not engaged in combat, about 170 other troops are advising the country’s security forces and 400 air force personnel are targeting ISIS strongholds.
