Deloris “Nunu” Hogan founded Dee’s Tots with her husband in 1985 in New Rochelle, New York, with the mission to enrich the children they serve one day at a time through individual and group play, interactive learning, and to provide a safe “home away from home.” Most of the constituents are single-parent, low-income families. They provide a unique service: 24-hour-a-day childcare for families for whom childcare options are limited. The care that they provide is essential to the empowerment of the kids they serve and brings peace of mind to the parents they serve. They want the families they serve to know they are not alone.
