The same law that helped make my father a citizen guaranteed employers an endless supply of undocumented and underpaid workers.
Josephine Lee is a community organizer with the Houston, TX People First workers organization, which aims to unite working people unite across industry, race, nationality and gender to collectively fight to end the sweatshop system and to have control over our health, how our communities are developed, our housing, education, environment, and workplaces to make sure it serves working people.. She is also an organizer with the national Break the Chains Alliance which calls for equal rights for all workers to organize.
