Kate Chaltain is an immigration attorney in private practice in New York City specializing in removal defense, asylum, and family immigration. She is a 2019 and 2018 Super Lawyers New York City Rising Star in Immigration Law. She is a 2008 graduate of the Fordham University College of Law where she was a Stein Scholar in Ethics and Public Interest Law. While at Fordham she was a Board Member of the Immigration Advocacy Project and a recipient of the Archibald Murray Magna Cum Laude Award for Public Interest Service. She lives in Manhattan with her husband and two children.
