Milana Vayntrub is a comedian, writer, actor, director, and activist. She is an Uzbekistan-born Jewish refugee who began her career performing improv and making sketches online. In 2016, she released an award-winning short documentary, Can’t Do Nothing - Refugees in Lesbos, which later became a fundraising movement to build schools and medical centers for refugees in Greece and Lebanon. She tours, speaking on activism and global citizenship, at various colleges and organizations. She writes for shows like Adult Swim’s Robot Chicken and her Comedy Central digital series Making Fun with Akilah and Milana. Her most recent film Werewolves Within premiered at Tribeca. Most days, you can catch Milana portraying “Lily” in a long-running AT&T campaign.
