Filmmaker Ondi Timoner (“DIG!”) captures how her father humanely took his own life in the new film “Last Flight Home.” She writes about what we can learn from his moving story.
Ondi Timoner is an internationally acclaimed filmmaker who has the rare distinction of winning the Grand Jury Prize at Sundance twice, for Dig! and We Live in Public. Both films were acquired by the Museum of Modern Art for its permanent collection. Ondi has created other award-winning films/series such as Join Us, Cool It, Brand: A Second Coming, Coming Clean, the scripted film Mapplethorpe (starring Matt Smith), and the doc series Jungletown. She was recently honored by DOC NYC’s Visionaries Tribute with the 2022 Robert and Anne Drew Award for Documentary Excellence.
