Rebecca Gummere is an award-winning freelance writer, lifelong traveler, and blogger whose work has appeared in O, The Oprah Magazine, The Rumpus, Alimentum, and other publications. She taught composition to college students, worked for a domestic violence/rape crisis agency, and in another life served three Lutheran pastorates. She is currently working on her first book, Chasing Light, a travel memoir.
