Robert Osborne has been the primetime host and anchor of Turner Classic Movies television network since TCM made it's on-air debut in April 1994. He is also known as the official biographer of Oscar, because of the series of books he's written on the Academy Awards. Osborne was born in Colfax, Washington (population: 2700), and graduated from the University of Washington's School of Journalism.

Turner Classic Movies host Robert Osborne curates 11 of his beloved lesser-known films from the '30s, '40s, and '50s, from Dodsworth to Remember the Night, starring Barbara Stanwyck. The TCM Classic Film Festival runs April 12-15 in Los Angeles.
