Ry Russo-Young is a filmmaker living in Manhattan and graduated from Oberlin College. Her second feature film You Won’t Miss Me premiered at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival and won a Gotham Award. The film will be released theatrically in October, 2010. Her first feature, Orphans, received a Jury Prize at the 2007 SXSW Film Festival and was released on DVD by Carnivalesque Films.
