Sergio Gonzales is the Deputy Director of the Immigration Hub, an organization dedicated to advancing fair and just immigration policies. Prior to joining the Hub, Sergio was Senior Policy Advisor to U.S. Senator Kamala Harris (D-CA). He had previously served as Deputy Chief of Staff for the U.S. Office of Personnel Management under the Obama White House and as an aide to Sen. Michael Bennet (D-CO). He has worked on several national and state campaigns which include Secretary Hillary Clinton’s 2016 campaign and President Obama’s 2012 re-election campaign. He originally began his career as a social case worker helping teens to emancipate from the foster care system.
