T. R. Johnson is a Professor of English and Weiss Presidential Fellow at Tulane University. He has written books about Lacanian psychoanalysis and the teaching of writing. For the last two decades, he has lived near the Mississippi River in the 9th Ward of New Orleans and hosted a contemporary jazz radio program.
