Zak Kostro is a reporter for The Riverdale Press, where he covers crime, politics, and local stories. Previously, he was at Airbnbmag, where he wrote for the second issue, and prior to that was an intern at Esquire. He's also written for Esquire.com and Esquire Classic. In a past life, he was a bartender for 10 years, first in New York City's Meatpacking District and later in Los Angeles, all of which slowly ate away at his soul but gave him much to write about. A native New Yorker, he holds a master's in journalism and a bachelor's in Spanish language and literature, both from Columbia.
