French authorities maintain news reports that say cellphone video from inside the crashed Germanwings flight was recovered are false. Marseille prosecutor Brice Robin, who previously said the plane’s voice recorder concluded passengers weren’t aware of what was happening until moments before impact, said that no mobile telephones had been analyzed. French magazine Paris Match and German tabloid Bild maintain the footage exists and shows—contrary to Robin’s claims—passengers were aware of their impending deaths.
