Here’s a heart-warmer for your Wednesday: Alex Hermann, an autistic 17-year-old from Chicago, picked perfectly the first two rounds of the NCAA tournament. The odds of doing that? One in 13,460,000—worse odds than winning the lottery twice. Hermann chose Northern Iowa over Kansas, Ohio over Georgetown, and Cornell over Wisconsin. Sadly for Hermann, he entered his bracket in the CBS pool without a prize attached. The odds of him completing a perfect bracket for the entire tournament are as high as one in one trillion.
