As part of an ongoing investigation into the death of Ezell Ford, a mentally ill black man killed by the Los Angeles Police Department in August, the police released his autopsy results on Monday. According tot he report, Ford was shot three times, twice fatally and once at close range. "We will find out the truth of what happened on that August night," said Police Chief Charlie Beck, who promised transparency. The LAPD has said that Ford was killed when he fought two officers and attempted to grab the gun from one of their holsters.
