NAUGHTY NA'VI

Avatar Sex Scene Script Posted Online

Excised sequence features "the ultimate intimacy."

Moviegoers who were hoping for a more "adult" take on the life of Avatar's giant, blue-skinned Na'vi aliens will be pleased to find out that the sex scene deleted from the movie release is available online as part of James Cameron's full script. Although calling it a "sex scene" might be pushing it: Na'vi, apparently, don't have sex—they have what the script calls "the ultimate intimacy." In the sequence, Jake Sully and his Na'vi lover, Neytiri, join their head-tendrils together, creating "direct contact between" each other's nervous system. Disappointed Avatar fans can only hope for a Last Tango on Pandora-type follow-up from Cameron.
