In a stunning return that caught his nation off guard, exiled Haitian leader Jean-Claude Duvalier, also known as Baby Doc, returned to Haiti on Sunday night. Duvalier, who was pushed into exile in a 1986 rebellion, has been living in Paris ever since. "I am here to see how the situation is," Duvalier told local radio. Haiti is still reeling from a presidential election many saw as rigged; the country’s current leader, Réne Préval, has been pressured to remove his chosen successor from a runoff.
