Baby Kim Jong-un on the Way

It looks like North Korea’s royal and terrifying first family will be welcoming a second child. Kim Jong Un’s wife Ri Sol-ju was seen wearing the same maternity dress she donned a few weeks before their daughter was born in 2012. The pressure is on for Ri to make baby number two a boy. "It's absolutely impossible that a daughter could take over as leader, so his wife needs to give birth to a son,” said Toshimitsu Shigemura, a professor at Tokyo's Waseda University. Although the birth of a baby tends to buy politicians some positive press, this will likely not detract from last week’s scathing UN report on North Korea’s atrocities.
