Fedotowsky-Manno, who was on the comedian’s talk show in 2010, said that she felt like “instead of laughing with me, she was laughing at me.” Fedotowsky-Manno told fellow former Bachelorette Kaitlyn Bristowe on her podcast Off the Vine that she felt DeGeneres looked down on her because she came from reality TV. “It’s not that she was mean, per se, she just made me feel stupid,” she said of DeGeneres. “And I don’t think she’s a bad person. DeGeneres chose to step away from her long-running show in 2022, though she said at the time that the allegations weren’t part of her decision. During Fedotowsky-Manno’s appearance on the show, DeGeneres asked her if she was drunk when she giggled.
