Republican voters, you really dropped the ball on this one. Despite having ditched her presidential bid after a poor performance in the Iowa caucuses, Michele Bachmann wants conservatives to know she was “the perfect candidate.” In an interview that aired over the weekend, the Minnesota congresswoman told Bloomberg TV’s Al Hunt that “America had their chance” to nominate the most eligible candidate in the GOP race but missed it. As for those who remain, Bachmann said any of them will be “more than acceptable” because they would all do a much better job in the White House than President Obama. She added that she was happy that the four remaining candidates are pushing to repeal Obamacare, the biggest mission of her campaign. Bachmann announced last week that she will be running for reelection in Congress this year.
