
Valentino designers Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli said that their Fall collection, which showed in Paris on Tuesday, offered an “intimate point of view.” They said they “wanted to capture women in a private moment.” As such, the collection was inspired by Dutch paintings—and featured stiff white shirt collars, A-line skirts, and even blue embroideries inspired by Delft ceramics.
